You may have noticed recently that aside from your average clown there have been many other wacky adults and children sporting big red hooters. This of course means Comic Relief is only round the corner. A night where our televisual box is rammed full of extremely funny people with a heart. Commonly known round our house as a Jim Davidson free zone.
With everybody doing the usual money raising things such as sponsored silences or bathing in beans, I have been racking my brains of something the whole H20 crew can do. Although they still achieve the required results of raising cash I can't think of anything more dull than staying silent for 24 hours. To me this would only be entertaining and raise millions if Jeremy Kyle signed up. As for sitting in a bath of baked beans? It has always amazed me that no one has yet to see the irony of trying to raise money to help feed the starving in Africa by lying in food! Talking of irony.....my 10 year old nephew suggested that as a company we all flew out to Africa and got sponsored to clean their cars for free. I did try and explain to him how ridiculous the concept of H20 going to a place that didn't have any H20 to use any H20 we could find to clean cars they didn't have but it seemed to go over his head.
By the way if you are doing your bit for Comic Relief....Do us a favour and try and avoid purchasing those car red noses if they're still doing them. For years they have been a car cleaners pain in the derriere....especially the ones that have been left on since 1993 and rotted into the grill. I already have my red nose but as with every year I won't be wearing it. Unfortunately I have a problem breathing through my mouth due to the fact I'm always talking so blocking my nose with a comedy clown hooter is not the way forward. I found this out many years ago on Comic Relief night when my face went blue and I got rushed to A and E. This was disappointing on 2 levels as 1. It's not a good thing to turn blue and 2. I missed Dawn French snogging Hugh Grant on the tele. Not that I have some weird fetish or anything, I'm just a big fan of the Vicar Of Dibley.

H20 Derby here. Who’s a derby county supporter!? The Rams are at Home against Barnsley this Saturday 5th March, 3pm kick off. Why not come and park in the Westfield shopping centre and also get your car valeted at the same time? I shall give you 3 hours worth of parking FREE with any valet on this day when you quote ‘The Rams’. It’s only a 5 minute walk to the stadium.

"Could you do a weekly blog?" said the big boss of H20 (commonly known as Lord Valet from the dark side)...."About what?" I replied......"About what goes on at our fine car valeting company obviously!!"
Well apart from starting with "They came in dirty" and ending with "They went out clean" I have to be honest that I'm really at a loss of what to fill in the middle. That aside, welcome to the second installment of my good self 'The Sponge's Blog' or as I've decided to rename it 'The Sponge's Blag' as it will become apparent that just like Jedward's career.....I'm making this up as I go along.
Last week I got very excited at the presence of Elle MacPherson. You could almost smell her in the air......Either that or it was a big waft of Selfridge's perfume counter coming through the Bullring vents. Famous people are the way forward I thought and so made it my mission to seek out those well known types off the telly. Surely one of the Chuckle Brothers, KC without his Sunshine band, the chubby opera bloke from the Go Compare adverts or some non-entity from Big Brother would be popping into Brum to do a bit of shopping? Surely? What....Have the panto lot done one as well? No chance of Joan Collins nipping out to get her roots done then? It was looking pretty bleak to the point that not even the usual suspects of Jamelia and Bob Warman had been spotted. Suddenly I got a major tip off that Sir Jimmy Saville had been seen mumbling to himself outside Poundland so I downed tools and did what can only be described as a really unfit gay run. Thoughts of how my blog would be full of classic 'now then, now then', cigar smoking, marathon running anecdotes and of course a chat about that fat scout who ate Mcdonalds on a rollercoaster raced through my head. This blog will be quality I thought. Then I got to Poundland and discovered that Jimmy was actually a 69 year old gypsy looking woman in a shellsuit. And before you ask.......She had never been 'grabbed' or gone to a 'Big fat wedding'!
So in conclusion.....If you are famous.....get yourself down the bullring and come and see us at H20. We'll make your car look lovely and it will make my life much easier than chasing after tracksuit wearing pensioners!!

helloooooooo everyone another great week last saturday we made at westfield london our first GRAND so that was a brilliant day over 42 cars came in !!!.The week so far has been good 18 cars in yesterday an 16 so far today,so the xmas vibe is picking up an we also have out gift vouchers an xmas gifts sets( AUTOGLYM COLLECTIONS) an i really love the pink set because its PINK HAHAH.The valeters are working very hard and me an Bernard have got a really good checking car sheet we follow whilst checking the finished cars ,to make the sure the car is given back to the customer perfectly and thats seems to be going well with no complaints .So bring on christmas an the christmas cars ,i hope santa will come in with his sleigh and raindears we will give them a free 4 star wash hahahaha look out for nexts week update lots of brap XX DIZZY DOLLY

hey hey hey im back its been a while ,been busy you know how it is (i hope haha).Past few weekends have been good an even mondays have had over 18 cars in each time,so that was surprising.The weather has been quite bad in the week so has been a bit quiet bit of a shame but it is winter. A new guy has started now called Bernard like me a customer service advisor, so i am training him on the tills and cashing up ect i,ve told him it took me 2 weeks to get hang of the closing up
( trust me it is not EASY LOL)but overall he's doing really well.We have had jody kids car in an anthea turner's Bentley i,ve also met Jamelia at the Micheal Jackson audtions that were held here at the centre ,you see Westfield is just full of celebrity's you all must come an visit :) A beautiful lamborghini came in the other day for a wash and everyone wanted to drive it,the customer loved the outcome so yeah a good week hope it gets busy for xmas ho ho ho xxxxx keep a look out for the updates i know you love them braaaap DIZZY DOLLY

This week started off very quiet but got busy as the week went on.The free valets attracted more customers and brought more business.I can't wait till we get the signs in,because some people didnt even know we are here haha.I am getting very confident at running the place cashing up is fine and the general duties are simpler,i still have to check the cars in more detail,and really check the chrome and make sure they are bling and shining,overall i great week and im definaltly getting the hang of things ,maybe im not so dizzy after all well i won't hold my breath hehehe xx lots of brap DIZZY DOLLY

Hey my name is Becca a.k.a Dizzy Dolly as my stage name is Dolly and apparently i was bit of a dizzy bird when i first started at h20 haha :) and im working as a customer service advisor at the new H20 at Westfiled London,and im going to be writing some weekly posts like a little diary,so hope you look out for these.My first two weeks at h20 was great i learnt alot and got used to the procedures.The area looks great with lots of colours signs and the office is nice and tidy (for now haha ).The first saturday was very busy so i did find it quite dificult booking all the cars in ect but it takes practise.The staff and valeters are very friendly and as we are all new,everyone feels welcomed.It was really cool checking all the nice posh cars(i,ve seen my perfect car this beautiful black Bently with silver chrome inside VERY BLING haha ) and im really getting the hang of opening and closing ,and today opened all by myslef aww bless me :) even though cashing up was bit dificult as the balancing was not always correct with Wayne down for the week from the birmingham branch everything always ended fine and his breakdancing skills made the day go faster hehe.Yesterday was a break through ,the balancing was perfect fot the FIRST TIME since i started yaaaay !!!! Today we have had a Vauxhall Corsa come in, and when booked in it was claimed to be RED. After 2 hours of hard work the car can now be called RED.

German Day today, we have every thing from VW to Audi and all the way up to Porsche. All we need now is some sun a BBQ and a few Frankfurters.

We are all used to the cold now so cleaning your cars is going to be easyer than ever. Lets hope the summer doesn't get to hot HA HA.

We had a Pug 307 in today for the windows to be tinted. came in a standard car, went out looking like a new one.

My daughters school entered a competition last night at the Albert Hall London they got first prize, this was out of all the schools up and down the country . The school will now be representing the UK in Austria in July !!!!!!!!!!!!!! The best news all week !!!!!!!!!

Another day and another dollar for Bullring. Had a lovely Bentley GTC in today, didn't even have to vacuum it!!!
